Commerce Bureau

The Commerce Bureau is tasked with managing business and property licenses. Commerce staff will process license applications, maintain the business registry, and promote business development through programs and initiatives.

Domestic Affairs

The Domestic Affairs Bureau primarily focuses on maintaining state records, reporting the State Census, and providing communication links between the department and the public. The bureau also maintains relations with other state agencies, the Governor, and the Senate.

Inspector General

The Inspector General’s Office is in charge of establishing and upholding department standards, enforcing regulatory practices, and conducting audits on businesses.
